Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of 7-10 mechanics in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Champion safe work practices. Ensure high quality standards are upheld. Effectively communicate by providing direction, assigning jobs, and supporting execution of the shop schedule. Along with, Collaborate with a skilled team to achieve company goals and drive growth. Know how to Install equipment to trucks ranging from light duty pick ups to the largest of Class 8 vehicles. Knowing automotive wiring, hydraulic systems & having some welding skills Technical troubleshooting of an upfit Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs. as necessary. Materials Director

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, results driven, team player with a strong eagerness to be hands on as well as coach and lead a team for the success of materials management and bill of material creation and maintenance. This position requires a team member that has a passion for manufacturing, can manage relationships internal and external to the organization, understands and has proven success in a global supply chain role. The role includes aspects of ERP, BOM creation, inventory, supplier relationships, and purchase order management. A typical day in this role may include the following: Leading and managing a Purchasing and BOM team Developing material strategy to support business growth Supplier relationship management and negotiations Material vision, forecasting and planning Inventory planning, accuracy, and management ERP customer order and shop order creation Bill of Material (BOM) and routing development for high value truck equipment Purchase order entry and expediting This opportunity might be a good fit for you if: Hold a 2- or 4-year degree in supply chain, engineering or business, or equivalent experience Have 3-5 years’ experience leading a Procurement, Materials or BOM team Have a deep understanding of materials management Have fluently used an ERP system and understands the full functionality of ERP and MRP Have a strong financial aptitude and enjoys solving problems You pay close attention to details Are an effective communicator and can build trust with teams Portray excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening Are motivated to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively There may be additional responsibilities as needed Why W.A.
